Meet Melissa Nelson.

When I first heard of Melissa’s journey to audition for American Idol, I was inspired.  At the young age of 15, she faced challenges that would have most people sitting on the sidelines.  But not Melissa.

And when she didn’t make the cut, she wasn’t down-hearted.  Instead, she recognized the power of the moment when she let her passion win over excuses.  Watch the first installment of “Pursue Your Passion” with the Strong Single Mom Network.
